ScatterTag Privacy Policy

DeDoom Studio ("DeDoom Studio," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ScatterTag mobile application ("ScatterTag" or the "app"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use ScatterTag.

Information stored by ScatterTag

ScatterTag stores notes and checklist information locally on your device. ScatterTag does not require an account, and DeDoom Studio does not operate a ScatterTag cloud database for your notes.

Information you create in the app, including note text, checklist items, pins, tags, and related note information, is stored locally on your device.

Export and import

ScatterTag can export notes to a file and import previously exported ScatterTag data. Exported files are handled through your device's file and sharing features. DeDoom Studio does not receive an exported file unless you choose to send or share it with us.

Advertising

ScatterTag displays advertising using Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app interaction information, and diagnostic information, depending on Google's services, your device settings, and applicable advertising configuration.

This information may be used for delivering and measuring advertisements, analytics, fraud prevention, and improving advertising services. Google may process information under its own privacy policies and terms.

Personal information we receive directly

If you contact support@dedoomstudio.com, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message, and use it to respond to your request.

Data sharing

DeDoom Studio does not sell your notes or personal information. Service providers such as Google may process information as described in this policy.

Data security

No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and any exported ScatterTag files containing your notes.

Children's privacy

ScatterTag is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through ScatterTag. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us.

Your choices

You can delete notes within ScatterTag and remove locally stored app data using your device's normal app-management controls. Advertising-related controls may also be available through your device and Google account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will update the effective date when changes are made.
